Growing up in Chicago, I was bitten by the performance bug at an early age appearing in my first stage production--as a girl scout in "Flower Drum Song"--while still in grammar school.
I think the first sign that this might be the direction I was headed was when my parents bought me a green toy upright Hoover vacuum that lit up and may have actually had suction.
Much to my parents' chagrin, I used the handle of it as a microphone stand and rehearsed my favorite Micky Mouse Club songs in front of it like a true Mouseketeer.  I wanted to be Annette when I grew up and that was that!
Decades later, I still want to be Annette when I grow up.
I have worked the Midwest, Southeast, England, France, Spain and am now in the Northwest fulfilling all my dreams.
No, I'm not a household name.  But I've had a broad and varied career and as long as I keep my definition of success as "Doing what I love and eating at the same time!"... well I've arrived and continue to arrive more each day.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my site and letting me introduce myself.
Best Always,                                                                                                                                   Barbara
